The Weapons

Candlestick

This well-polished silver candlestick usually adorns the Dining Room table. So why was it discovered standing upright on a shelf in the Hall?

Dagger

A sharp, antique dagger from the 17th century - though Dr. Black probably used it as a letter opener as it was normally to be found in the Lounge. However this deadly item was found next to the kitchen sink!

Lead Piping

A piece of lead piping that was kept in the conservatory in case the kitchen sink or any of the rusting pipes of the old house started to leak. Someone must have mistaken it for a cue though, as it was discovered on the Billiard Room table.

Revolver

Dr. David Black's new revolver - his old one was getting a little rusty. Normally kept in one of the drawers of the desk in the study, it was lying next to a bible in the Library when the police came across it.

Rope

A nasty piece of cord that tied back the curtains in the Ballroom; it was found underneath the desk in the study.

Spanner

This sturdy instrument, kept in the mansion's large Hall cupboard, was found sitting on a sideboard in the Dining Room.

Poison

This deadly bottle of poison is normally kept safely hidden away in a cupboard in the kitchen. But obviously it was not that well hidden as it was discovered on the floor of the Ball Room.
This type of poison is used for killing rodents - but could also kill a human in seconds.

Axe

The axe that adorns the wall to the library is a piece of memorabilia from when Dr. Black went camping in the Forest of Dean. Though the wall was bear when the police arrived; and the axe was instead found in the Conservatory.

Blunderbuss

Another trophy of Dr. Black's, this usually hung in the Billiard Room. However this nasty thing was found nonchalantly leaning against the sofa in the Lounge.
