The Weapons

 

Candlestick

A beautiful ornate silver candlestick, one of a pair that is usually to be found on the Dining Room table, was found carelessly thrown to the floor of the Hall.

Spanner

A rusty old spanner, borrowed by Professor Plum to fix the table in the Billiard Room, was found on the Dining Room table.

Lead Piping

A corroded piece of the old plumbing system of the Grange was kept in a drawer in the Conservatory. The detectives found in on the Kitchen table.

Rope

A piece of rope that was used to tie the Ballroom curtains back was found on the table in the Billiard Room.

Revolver

Mrs. Peacock’s gleaming, deadly revolver. Generally kept under lock and key in one of the drawers in the Study bureau, it was found in the windowsill of the Ballroom.

Dagger

An ornate ornamental dagger occasionally used as a letter-opener usually stays in the Library, but was found instead on the Study carpet.

Blunderbuss

This large cumbersome firearm, still functional, hung on the wall of the Lounge. It was found in the Conservatory.

Poison

Household rat poison kept in the Kitchen was found by the detectives on the drinks table in the Lounge.

Axe

A gruesome conversation piece, this sharp axe was usually hung on the Hall wall but it ended up propped against one of the bookcases in the Library.
